Last night I had the opportunity to question Minister of State for Mental Health and Older People, Helen McEntee, on the current cuts affecting the Home Care Package, in particular the Intensive Home Care Packages for people with Dementia. Health is a constant issue in Kildare North at my clinics and it is becoming increasingly difficult to facilitate the care of older people in their home.
