1. That Kildare County Council will include the following roads in Celbridge into their road re-surfacing programme for 2015 (1) The Clane road from the Grotto (English Row) to the Lucan road. (2) Hazelhatch Road up to the speed ramp from the junction.

Answer: At our meeting on the 19th December the area Engineer has confirmed that these roads will be put forward for re-surfacing in the 2015 works programme. I acknowledged all the excellent road re-surfacing works which has been carried out in Celbridge and the Municipal District recently.

2. That the Council will solve the ponding that occurs on the Maynooth road between the old and new road surfacing opposite Colortrend.

Answer: The Council confirmed that this will be included into their works programme and be resolved as a matter of priority.

Questions:

1. Can the Council include the extension to Confey Cemetery into there next three year capital programme.

Answer: The extension to Confey Cemetery will be included by the Council in their next three year capital works programme 2014 to 2017.

2. Can the footpaths in Dara Court be repaired at the following locations (1) opposite house No’s 61 and 62. (2) at the gable of house 65.

Answer: The area office has confirmed that these repairs will be carried out early in 2015
